Day 1–2
Free in-home consultation. We measure every window to 1/16 inch, photograph your existing decor, and talk through the look you're after — even if it's just "I'll know it when I see it."
Day 3–7
We bring 20–40 fabric and material samples to your home, color-match against your trim and furniture, and mock up anything unusual — bay returns, arched tops, sliding-door panels — before a single shade is cut.
Day 8–18
Hand-crafted to your exact measurements at our Texas workshop. Every panel quality-checked before it leaves. If it isn't something we'd install in our own home, it isn't going in yours.
Day 19–21
Owner-supervised installation. We adjust on-site for a perfect fit, walk through every window with you, and remove all debris. You sign off only when it's right.
We got zebra blinds installed and it was a good experience. Explained and showed us different catalogs and materials , the process of order placement , delivery and installation was smooth. They are quick to respond if you have any questions. Joana did great with the installation, we faced issues with remote pairing and he was patient to fix each nd every window. Standard rectangular, bay, bow, half-round (arched), full-circle, octagonal, trapezoid, sliding glass doors, French doors, skylights, oversized 10-ft-plus openings, pivot windows, and casement. If it has glass, we've probably built something for it. Bring photos to the consultation if you're not sure what your window is called — we'll know.
Custom: three weeks from consultation to installed. Off-the-shelf: same-day, but only if your window matches one of twelve standard sizes — and even then, the fit is rarely tight. For bay windows, arched tops, sliding doors, and anything oversized, custom is the only real option.
Custom shades typically run $200–$400 per window depending on material — roller and woven wood toward the lower end, Roman shades, sheer shades, and layered treatments toward the premium end. Big-box standard sizes start around $50–$100 per window but only fit a handful of stock window dimensions, and the fit is rarely tight. For non-standard windows (bay, arched, sliding doors), off-the-shelf doesn't exist as an option. Once you factor in professional install and the replacement cost of cheaper shades that warp or sag within a couple of seasons, custom is the better long-term value.
